They are a versatile alternative to broadloom carpet and offer easy installation, replacement, and maintenance.

Holds the fiber tufts in place and improves dimensional stability. Often made of:

• Synthetic woven or non-woven fabric

Base layer that anchors the yarn and supports the tile structure.

📌 4. Backing/Backing Treatment
Provides weight, strength, and sometimes adhesive compatibility. Types include:

• PVC bitumen

• Eco-friendly hot-melt backing

  •
